Several families have already had their children implanted with RFID chips in the event they are kidnapped. Many places are also putting them in animals in case they lose their pet. In Cincinnati, Ohio a tech company had them put into their employees to track them around the business to monitor them in the high security areas.

It's already started. It's just a matter of time before it is forced.

STEP ONE: All NEW passports (USA) now come with RFID chip inside. Done.

STEP TWO: The REAL ID card (complete with RFID chip) that all Americans have to have. That has already passed and begins May of this year. However, some states are not on board so they can file an extension until 2011, then it is mandatory. So much for allowing the states to have their own law. Done and in the works.

if you wake up everyday being angry and paranoid and having issues with authority... why not deal with your childhood molestation and then get on with your life? contribute something useful... make people happy.... or, maybe focus on your own happiness so that your own life is worth living.

The best you and the rest of us can do is, get all your money out of the usa and into a safe offshore account, set up via a director so you are not attached to it (you pros know what I'm talking about with that), change your dollars to a solid currency, start working on a second passport, and be prepared for the day the shit hits the fan or you simple don't want to deal with it anymore.

rfid impants are not gonna happen anytime soon as a mandatory id card.

do you know how easy it would be for me (an hundreds of thousand of others) to swipe all the info off these chips without you knowing. identity theft would be rampant. security on those is weak. more usefull as inventory tracking.

They can be secured properly but I wouldn't trust others with my information
and their ability to secure it....but there's defenitely good ways to secure
info stored on Rfid chips

Biometrics seems a much more likely option.
