Creating mysql databases in cpanel whm
How do I add mysql databases in cpanel whm??
Do I have to be a USER to add mysql DB or can I be root to do this? Anyway as root i have these following options under sql services... Additional MySQL Access Hosts Change a User or Database Password MySQL Root Password Repair a Database Reset Local MySQL Root Password Setup Remote MySQL server Show MySQL Processes phpMyAdmin Please advice me on how to create a "normal" mysql database... Thanks :pimp |
MySQL Databases---->New Database: <enter db name> ----> <click create database>
Current Users---->Username: <enter username> -----> Password: <enter password> Add Users To Your Databases: ----> add the above user to the above db... |
exactly, but as the user of the domain, not as root. and that in Cpanel, not WHM.

First step will be- domain.com/cpanel, enter your username and password, and hte go to mysql administration and you will know everything.

Hiya !!
That's what is very weird with this setup, i have logged in as USER But i cant login at mydomain.com/cpanel ---- i get this message Not Found The server was not able to find the document (./cpanel) you requested. Please check the url and try again. You might also want to report this error to your webhost. If i login as USER at WHM I dont get any mysql choices as explained by "Naughty-Pages" Is there somewhere you can add /cpanel for users permissions... Any help is much appreciated... |
I forgot to add frontpage extension for different USERS
Problem solved! |
