Does a REPUBLICAN have a chance
or has America learned its lesson?
Discuss. |
Depends if a real republican actually gets the chance. The other guys, not so much.
|
McCain. And to be honest if Hillary or Obama is the dem nominee I'm voting for McCain. If Edwards is the VP nominee I may change my mind. If McCain is not the GOP nominee I may have to go 3rd party. Bloomberg if he runs.
|
A democrat will win in 2008 for sure
|
I'm praying for a Republican..... Hillary and Obama are BOTH nightmares
|
If Clinton or Obama are nominated, yes.
|
Ultimately your voting for the less of all evils. They are all a bunch of lying cocksuckers with package deals catering to special interest.
Whatever happened to Alexander the Great or Julius Casaer? People who knew what war was all about before waging one. Give me Colin Powell. I'll vote again when he runs |
Let's hope not.
Except for Ron Paul that is and he doesn't have snowball's chance in hell anyway (unfortunately). |
I want Baddog to win just so I can see a Baddog self portrait photo from the Oval Office.

You might want to rethink that. McCain will be a nightmare to the industry. Add on Lieberman as VP and we could be fucked. Honestly, I think McCain could be the worst of the bunch (for our industry) if he is elected.

I think McCain has a chance against Clinton, and an even bigger chance against Obama.
|
A republican introduced the "war on drugs" Another introduced the "war on terror".
Both failed. |
I think so too. I have a feeling he has already been groomed as our next prez. And to answer RedShoe's question of has America learned its lesson? No.

Show me where McCain wuld be any worse than Bush. Besides McCain would be a one termer because of age. Hopefully Edwards won't be too pissed at the dems for being so retarded twice in a row and go for the nomination a 3rd time in 2012. |
With Exxon breaking all previous profit making records for a US firm (they held the record for 2006 as well with a lower amount)..... I'd just be happy if it wasn't someone from an oil family background that wins.

Edwards'll take the presidency if he gets nominated, imho... any other nomination seems like a spin of the wheel for the Democratic party... especially against McCain. Hell, I, personally, might support McCain against Hill-Dog. |

Romney and McCain won't team up. The are at each other's throat right now. Lieberman is always in tow thanks to McCain and they share the same views.
As for McCain's stance on porn here is an example: http://www.news.com/SenatorIllegalim...?tag=nefd.lede http://politechbot.com/docs/mccain.c...der.120806.pdf http://phoenix.bizjournals.com/phoen...4/daily12.html Quote:

Ron Paul and Obama is the best bet to keep the internet open and put responsibility in parent's hands.

Everyone thinks this guy or that guy will be so different, but I say they all deal with the real people in power and if they don't know how to do that or don't have a knife at their throats, it really doesn't matter who gets in. |

Seaweeds consist of several groups of multicellular algae: the red algae, green algae, and brown algae. As these three groups are not thought to have a common multicellular ancestor, the seaweeds are a paraphyletic group. In addition, tuft-forming bluegreen algae (Cyanobacteria) are sometimes considered as seaweeds.
Seaweeds are popularly described as plants, but only red and green algae belong to the kingdom Plantae. They should not be confused with aquatic plants such as seagrasses (which are vascular plants). |
They don't want to stop porn, they want to regulate it.

Barack Obama is definitely the best choice for the United States. He is very well educated and has a lot of new ideas and serious about realizing his ideas.

Almost? Insofar as I realize, the Democratic Party hasn't chosen a nominee yet, and Edwards is still highly regarded. I currently plan to cast my vote for him a week from Tuesday in California's primary. I might have decided to vote for Ron Paul - but the Republican Party has excluded Non-Partisan voters from voting for a Republican candidate in the California Primary... possibly for that very reason. |

Also he can't handle Hillary how is he going to handle Congress. Jimmy Carter was a really nice guy, but he didn't even have support even from his own party in Congress which really hampered him. |

A woman has a better chance than a republican in this election.
But I keep saying it, Bill comes with the package, its not *just* a vote for a woman. That will be the clencher. Bill Clinton is a celebrity, a hero of a president. He got a blowjob in the white house and this is public info. The nation loves him. :1orglaugh The middle class cares not about true politics. Bill Clinton went on MTV and played the saxophone, people went crazy. The Clintons are very powerful people, and do lots of business with republicans. In the true scope of it all, I don't think any other dem has a chance. and they all hate porn, and love world trade (war), so it doesn't matter what they say now trying to get elected. If McCain is the best the republicans can do, they are in trouble. but hey, my opinion is about as useless as cheese. |

Gator, I don't mind discussing shit but when you turn shit around and call me retarded because I want to see Obama as prez then that's where I draw the line. Go ahead and club your fucking seal and vote for McCain. Also, why such resentment for Obama, are you a closet racist?

I must have had a moment of retardness since I thought you replied to my post with that response. Either, you shouldn't be calling people retards just because you want McCain, which is still a bad choice :1orglaugh

Obama can't win, there's too many people in the United States who won't vote for a black man when they're alone in the voting booth, regardless of what they might tell a pollster.
Obama is probably not a bad choice for President. He's no different than the rest though, the whole "change" campaign is ridiculous. He'll be as owing to the people that got him there as anyone else would be. He's just another white politician but he happens to have black skin. Huckabee and Romney are fucking nut bars. Terrible choices. McCain, meh, I guess he'd be not too bad. Better than Huckabee, Romney or Giuliani for sure. Personally, I think the best choice is Edwards. He's charasmatic, he's bright and he's probably the best choice out of the lot. Unfortunately, what will probably happen is Hillary or Obama will get the nod for the Democrats, and basically hand the White House to the Republicans. Then after there'll be crying of "voter fraud!" and "woes me", but you will have deserved what you ended up getting. Hopefully it's not Romney or Huckabee in this case, although it would be fun to laugh at the Democrats who still won't know where they went wrong. Christ, I half expect an "anybody but Bush!" campaign again. Just because it failed last time doesn't mean it won't get tried again. |
Quote:
yep Obama has a ton of ideas and even for creating new jobs on the internet etc ... but he will not get the nod because slow people cannot see past skin color... its a shame really this is one of those times in history where our country is supposed to make a major change.... except this time it will be stalled out by skin color oh well FYI... edwards couldnt be the president of chuckee chese region 2 |

God help us if it's Huckabee or Romney though. If it does end up that way, Democrats will have nobody to blame but themselves. :2 cents: |
