You might want to check, this is my basic webmaster guide (mostly for free blogs with amateur content (like beach voyuer, exgirlfriend pics etc)
This is really for beginners and has some valuable info. It is just start-up, where You don't need to invest (not investing is bad idea), cause newbies often don't want to risk any of their money.

Go to the local library and look for the Business section, sub-category: Marketing. Start with the fundamentals and intro type books and then move on to the more advanced strategies, take notes and study hard. I've read over 30 books on the subject and I'm still not done. Contemplating writing my own book on Internet Marketing cause there are so many shitheads out there with stupid fucking advice and they need to go fuck themselves, some of them pay over $.40 a click and there getting ripped off, at least someones making money.
