Your experience with NETBILLING?

We have thought about using Netbilling, anyone currently using them feel like sharing their experiences with them? How good is the Member customer service level? ect.
Is this a option mostly for huge people processing huge $numbers? Or could the medium paysite owners also get a good experience with them?

This was posted by Epoch:

"SO IS THERE ANY NEED FOR 3rd PARTIES ANYMORE?????
Only if you want to continue to process transactions in the adult space. Funny not once has someone mentioned the FACT that it cost $1000.00+ to be registered as a high risk merchant with your own merchant account, that is if you can find an acquiring bank willing to take the risk.

Anyone know what the ratios on Mastercard are for chargebacks? Better yet anyone know the initial fine if you exceed? The ratio is 1%, that is 1 ot of 100 transactions, the best part is the fine, 1st moth 25K plus $25.00 per chargeback.
Now if you are a merchant doing less than 50K per month do you really think a financial institution is going to be willing to underwrite this account?
If you can't pay the fines they do, their risk dept. does not risk 3-5K per moth in revenue for this type of volume and associated fines. "

25k for a chargeback? WTF

Please comment on using Netbilling and the scary post above!
Is a US based LLC also needed for this solution?

I don't use Netbillings personally however one of my clients does. And they've always done really well for him. I know when I've needed support from them they're fairly quick to respond (within 24 hours) and offer a lot of features.

As far as rates go I'm not certain, since as I said I don't use them myself except on behalf of this other guy, I've never looked at the costs since it's not my money :1orglaugh

I use CCBill and am happy with everything but NetBilling is a group of awesome honest people.

If you decide to go with your own merchant account they are by far the best for that.

Contact them ask for Mitch Farber hes a very helpful and great guy.

Good luck

Jizar II,

We use NetBilling on several of our sites. You need your own merchant account to use NetBillings. They have people on staff that will be able to get you an account.

For their customer service to the merchant (site owner), it is excellent. They are very responsive and are always working to please all their clients. I have no complaints. You don't have to go through 10 levels of employees to get stuff done. Call them once about something and it is done! :D

They also offer 24/7 customer service for your customers too. This is a great service because if you have your own merchant account you don't want members or member wives calling your office/home and bitching you out for charges to their credit cards. Because someone is able to talk to your customers 24/7 via phone or email, this helps reduce the risk of charge backs.

The way I look at it is you can cut out the third party, make more money by having lower fees and still have all the advanages of a third party by using Net Billing customer service. Best of all you get DAILY deposits from your mechant account!!!

Hope this helps....

Netbilling is the greatest. Mitch is very easy to work with and the level of customer service is excellent. If you need a merchant account they can assist you in obtaining one.

What I would be interested is affiliate programs. Just like the ones Ibill, CCbill or Epoch run.

So, when running a paysite with Netbilling, will you be able to have a couple dozen webmasters selling your site, without having to cut checks by yourself, or sending out wires yourself?

I coulnd't find any info on this on the netbilling website.

Regards

Madball

Hi Madball,

Our system works with many affiliate programs on the market. I highly recommend X3 scripts. You can reach them at 410-296-5970. There are others as well. You can either pay the afiliates yourself or use affiliatetracking.net who will do it for you for a nominal charge per item.

Thank you, Mitch Farber
