There is some truth in what you say, but sometimes marriage can be very happy.

Probably true for the most part, although I can speak directly to the topic since I'm not married. But I think that even if one cheats it doesn't always mean they're not happy or that they don't love their spouse. It's just the "other" factor and immediate physical gratification for something novel. I'm sure there are a lot of guys who are happily married in the sense that they would never want to trade in their wife for the woman on the side - the woman on the side is just a 'bonus'.

If you enjoy someone's personality and everything that goes along with them, the physical attraction etc, there's nothing wrong with making a commitment to spend the rest of your life together. But to deny that each other will have sexual urges towards other people is outright stupid. Denying your partner the chance to act on those urges periodically will eventually cause infidelity...or misery.
