I'm not sure I'd even call 911. If someone's dead, it isn't exactly an emergency. I have the local non-emergency number for the sheriff's office near my phone. Hopefully I won't find a dead celebrity here and need to use it.

If it was me. I'll call 911 and then cops, the hell I care if people feast on me.

If you can't reach me at home, hit me on my cell.

If the person is dead...I would not call 911. I would call a funeral home and let hem take it from there. If there was some doubt about the person being dead...and I determined that I could get the person to the hospital quicker than waiting for a 911 response...I would not call 911. If 911 would be the quickest way to get the person EMT care and to the hospital then I would call 911.
