It's funny how five hours seems like only five minutes. I used to do that shit 12 hours a day.

I'm about to uninstall this shit again. I had a list of things I needed to do yesterday. Play WoW wasn't on my list but it's absolutely all I did.

ive never played any of these types of games... mainly because im afraid i will get addicted. i watched my brother and his friends remove themselves from society playing EverQuest for 12+ hours a row each day.

everybody has something they kick back and waste a little time on though.

i havent watched television in over a year, brand new HDTV never watched anything but South park DVDs on it lol

i also dont play console games, so the little time I do play wow is just kick back and relax crap before i shower and hit the bed or something. People are paying $300 for a PS3 with no games, Rock Star is what $200+? I choose to just pay a recurring billing and play when I play, no console gaming system here since PS1

some people smoke cigs, some drink tea - some people play EA sports games all day - i like MMORPGs over consoles, have since I started playing Ultima Online YEARS and YEARS ago.

I'm with Fletch, on this sort of thing.
I got a great 54" HDTV and the fucker just sits in the living room, no cable hook up or television at my house. Television and movies is just to passive for me, though I will kick and watch a movie once in a while I am one of the kind of people that always has to be fucking with something be it design, work, traffic building I have to be doing something I can not just sit.

Balancing downtime time and work is quite simple for at least me.

I know many people have a hard time doing that sort of thing and if you are one of those do not play this fucking game, you will not be able to handle it.

I just deleted my 70 rogue a few weeks ago. Had full epic arena and raiding sets... a single /played convinced me it was time to quit.

Now, I'm amazed at the amount of time I have left to do other stuff :)

That must have taken so much courage to do. hehe

I'm thinking of cancelling WoW and going back to Final Fantasy XI.

I really don't understand why people think WOW is so addicting and troublesome?

I can remember putting Super Mario on pause and would continue where i left off the night before back in the 80s.

5 hours on a video game is an addiction now?

I think I played my old NES for three days straight once when I was younger lol
