The price tag will initally be quite hefty, but is expected to be lowered as more customers "hop on".

It's not the weightless part, it's the fact that you will be going so high you will technically be in space and therefore be in an elite group of less than 1000 people who have done so, that is, astronauts and test pilots. :thumbsup

Expanding on what OzMan said a bit...

The commercial weightless trips, until now, have been in "vomit comets"... planes that take dives to simulate brief periods (lasting only a few minutes at best) of weightlessness, while still maintaining flight within the constraints of the Earth's Atmosphere.

These new-un's are actually in "space" - outside of the Earth's Atmosphere.

What's the big deal of being in space anyway? I see nothing special about that? So what's that less than a thousand people have done it.
I'll do it when it reaches a $10,000 ticket.

the prices will drop in the future and it will be over booked like crazy. all the rich lonely men in the world will offer ladies a trip to the space to get in their pants.

Why even waste $10,000 if you don't see anything special about it?

I guess it's like the first passenger airplanes.. only the rich and adventurous used them at first.

I am hoping for two hour flights to get anywhere in the world in my lifetime but who knows. :)
