Are virtual servers ok, and suggestions?
I was wondering, if your not doing huge traffic on mgps or whatever, are virtual servers ok, with multiple IPs and stuff or is that real amateur stuff and shouldnt be used? For example, if you were doing mainstream sites and wanted to put up say 50 domains with unique IPs, preferable multi class c's, would you always get a dedicated as opposed to virtual even if you werent doing huge traffic?
And what are some hosting corps that do IPs over multi class c's designed for SEO advantages? Ive seen got web host, but what are some others? cheers |
We do multiple class C's , on virtual or dedicated. Naturally, his is more expensive then a regular setup.
You can do 50 virtual mainstream sites on a virtual . Most virtual servers have way more then 300 domains on them ... Ask for a special lauching promo for a lifetime rebate. Note: site is near completion, but operational. |
The main issue you need to be concerned with when getting a virtual server for SEO purposes is do you get a shared or dedicated IP?
Most hosts share IP's among their customers so they can get more profit per server. This may be good for them, but it is not good SEO. www.GotWebHost.com never shares IP's among our clients, because we understand what "SEO hosting" is all about. The fact of the matter is that most SEO's do not really require dedicated servers unless they are using a lot of resources. ICQ 16075497 if you would like to discuss the options available. We have over 100 Class C's from around the world. |
