Talk about bad timing :(
I was waiting for a quoted delivery between 9am-5pm yesterday... gave up at about 6pm and went for a nap.
My wife left to visit someone. Her car disappeared from our security cam at 7:47:30pm The delivery truck appeared at 7:48:36pm. 66 seconds later. I was completely exhausted after keeping myself awake all day so I didn't hear the knock. #@$&(^!!!! Funny thing is the driver wrote on the card that he visited at 5:35pm. He's not fooling me. |
Ahhh... someone is buying sextoys online.....

thanks for sharing the story

i go to the bank today, but before i enter the bank, i go to a mexican food restaurant next to it, and i order take away food, it should be ready in 30 mins
then i go to the bank, but theres suddenly a huge waiting line, so I wait 28 minutes in line, and then its my turn but i have to leave already since the food is waiting already in the restaurant keep in mind, i went there especially to the bank, food was just extra but i decided its better to drive to the bank again in a few days than to eat the food cold |
Happens to me everytime I am looking for something to get delivered.

because of my erratic sleeping schedule happens to me quite often.
is it possible to give Fedex or UPS permission to leave a package in the garage or even give them persmission to open a door and leave it inside the house? they should have a box that u can attach to your house that they can dump stuff in and then lock it. |
what an info !

if it was Aust Post, he never came.
I was chatting to them about it - the actual deliveries are handled by a different company - so to take the afternoon off, they just drop off the 'sorry we missed you' slips without attempting to deliver. |
This happened to me :(
I was at home waiting and saw the delivery guy show up... like woot!! I come down stairs and go outside and he was leaving :( he left a slip in the mail :( no package the bastard. |

I have a security camera and triggered recorder (plus time lapse) so after a bit of head scratching at not being able to see him around 5:30 I soon figured it out. He's supposed to be here again today between 1pm and 4pm... I guess that means he'll turn up at 7 :) |

shit happenz.......I remember back in the days when I used to sell shit on ebay as a ptime thing.........I had lots of people complaining that their stuff was late all because of Fedex/UPS tardiness........and yeah! they do write a different time of delivery if they are very late....epic shit no doubt about it......
|
Yeah I hate that, whenever I get up early it doesn't come till evening, whenever I sleep in they come first thing in the morning.
Best thing is to give them your mobile number :) |

The next dramatic saga in this magnZzZzZerr where was I? Anyway, it's 9pm, I doubt he's gonna come. That's twice he's missed his mandated delivery window.
|
Damn that sucks. I always have the same. They come between 9am-5pm. Then when I leave for like 2 minutes to get some bread/milk whatever, they come in this fucking period:)
|
I cannot speak which even makes the situation funnier. People come, the bell rings, I gotta put up some clothes and they either leave or try all bells again. I am using an old bell know what mom used to use when Christmas came etc, an antique one and I can ring back... that sounds amazing to most lol.
|
That sucks! when you're tired, i mean really tired you couldn't even hear loud noises.

The one time I decided to have a nap on the spare bed in the FRONT room was when a criminal forced my front door. Someone was watching over me that day, otherwise he would have been inside the house before I woke up. |
It's a bonus if anything i order actually arrives at all, never mind at a certain time...
