if you are talking a windows box you want to login to www.logmein.com I love it. Worked on my laptop logging into my desktop here in Tn from Japan in December. Thing rocks. There is a monthly or annual fee, but it is worth it. Can login with any computer via a browser. VERY handy.

logmein gets around that shit. There is a free trial on it, so many hours I think to test it. Works beautifully.
