I forgot, Tom Cruise was actually in one good movie.

Anyone remember what it was?

Doctor Dre 01-22-2008 01:03 PM

Top gun ? lol

sextoyking 01-22-2008 01:05 PM

Only one I ever liked - he was a jag / navy lawyer and Debra winger was in it. guys at gitmo accused of murder.

Peaches 01-22-2008 01:05 PM

Ones I liked:

Risky Business
Top Gun
Rainman
A Few Good Men
Magnolia
Minority Report
Jerry McGuire

Just because he's a total nutcase doesn't mean he hasn't been in some good flicks ;)

Not what I am thinking of.

MrPinks 01-22-2008 01:07 PM

He was classic in Magnolia as Frank TJ Mackey. Also, Born on the Fourth of July, Risky Business, and Rain Man. Not your cup of tea? There's always Cocktail. :1orglaugh

another one I liked. Born on the 4th.. good flick... I like most Oliver Stone flicks.

DaddyHalbucks 01-22-2008 01:09 PM

Top Gun was his best.

Brother Bilo 01-22-2008 01:10 PM

He's been in some good flicks. Him being a total loon has only made his acting better.

How many years has he acted as if he was normal? He's good. Too bad it only took one interview with Oprah to open up that pandoras box full of scientology and crazyness.

I was actually thinking of a movie that he did well in. Movies like Rainman were good, but not because of his abilities.

ronaldo 01-22-2008 01:10 PM

The only movies I liked him in were The Firm and A Few Good Men. Taps was okay too.

I'm betting you're thinking Legend though.

dougeetx 01-22-2008 01:11 PM

It must be "Legend"

Ketchup 01-22-2008 01:12 PM

Okay he was good in that one.

I'm with you on the rest of it though, he has been in several good films, even quite a few great ones. But in nearly every one he's always the same... Tom Cruise.

Peaches 01-22-2008 01:17 PM

Yeah, I liked Born on the 4th - should have added it to my list ;)

tony286 01-22-2008 01:18 PM

LiveDose 01-22-2008 01:18 PM

Tom Cruise is a nut, for sure.

But there is only one Tom Cruise. Mission Impossible with Brad Pitt? I don't think so. Nutty as a fucking fruitcake, but he is the motherfucking man.

DivaShane 01-22-2008 01:57 PM

I love the outsiders! I'll have to go out and see if I can find it now.

Worst Movie: Interview with a Vampire!

Mazuma Jason 01-22-2008 01:58 PM

The standout actor in Jerry McGuire is Cuba Gooding Jr.

OG LennyT 01-22-2008 02:08 PM

Top Gun, Jerry Maguire, A Few Good Men

Have to admit he's been in a lot of good movies.

Everytime that one he did with Jamie Fox comes on TV I'll sit down and watch it. Can't really say why. Maybe it's the story line that draws me in.

PenisFace 01-22-2008 02:40 PM

Why hasn't anyone mentioned "collateral" yet? He plays an awsome bad guy. Which must be why everyone was pissed when his character died :(

Edit: Damn the guy above me mentioned it!

D 01-22-2008 02:42 PM

I remember thinking he was good in "Far & Away"... but that was a long time ago.

Violetta 01-22-2008 02:43 PM

I actually hate him,,,

pizzaid 01-22-2008 02:43 PM

tom cruise is a cock smoker..:1orglaugh
