He was classic in Magnolia as Frank TJ Mackey. Also, Born on the Fourth of July, Risky Business, and Rain Man. Not your cup of tea? There's always Cocktail. :1orglaugh

He's been in some good flicks. Him being a total loon has only made his acting better.

How many years has he acted as if he was normal? He's good. Too bad it only took one interview with Oprah to open up that pandoras box full of scientology and crazyness.

I was actually thinking of a movie that he did well in. Movies like Rainman were good, but not because of his abilities.

The only movies I liked him in were The Firm and A Few Good Men. Taps was okay too.

The first Vanilla sky was something. The one with Tom is not to compare..

Tom Cruise is a nut, for sure.

But there is only one Tom Cruise. Mission Impossible with Brad Pitt? I don't think so. Nutty as a fucking fruitcake, but he is the motherfucking man.

Have to admit he's been in a lot of good movies.

Everytime that one he did with Jamie Fox comes on TV I'll sit down and watch it. Can't really say why. Maybe it's the story line that draws me in.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned "collateral" yet? He plays an awsome bad guy. Which must be why everyone was pissed when his character died :(
