Bulk email program for Mac?

Since I've switched to using a Mac, I need a bulk email program I can use to email all my trades about updates, etc. What are people using?

Would it not be possible to use some sort of php based mass email script?
Which one did you have for windows?

For windows i used Worldcast by Fairlogic. Worked pretty good.

I want to send from my Mac, not my server. Worldcast is cool because it acts as a server while sending.

Does it have it's own built in mail server?

no it does not

Try setting up a windows partition using boot camp, then use vmware fusion to run your old app in os x. I've had to do that with a few windows only apps that I just couldn't part with when I made the switch.

What would be the difference in using a PHP based bulk mailer seeing as you have a server on your local machine. You need to enable it which takes about 30 seconds.
What am I missing?

A local machine would need sendmail as well. Sure, I can install PHP on my mac, but it needs the mail server.

OSX comes with Postfix. If you're really lazy, here's a pretty little clickable button to turn it on for you.

I use my newsletter cgi-script. It is unfortunately written in German (http://www.coder-world.de/) but I know there are other free scripts out there in English. I have about 15.000 addresses in there, it works great. No need to import, addresses can be copy/pasted in the address list of the control panel. Mail can be sent out as html or text, with attachments.

I'm looking for something non-server based.

I think what everyone is trying to tell you is that your mac IS the server. It comes with Apache, PHP, MySQL, Ruby...all that stuff is already there installed for you. You can run anything "server based" right from your Mac laptop or desktop.

Ok, let me put it this way. I'm looking for something with a GUI interface.

i like max bulk email.
http://www.maxprog.com/MaxBulk.html

i'd rather use something with more functionality like icontact or constantcontact but they are not adult-friendly.
