India, aside from the 2500.00 car they also along with Mexico have full intentions to start producing the air car as well. This one costs between 12,000 to 25,000 for the full sized hybrids.

take it from someone whos driven in India...any car you are in is a death box on most Indian roads...plus the Nano was made specifically for the lower income market who just want to have a car and not bothered about all the extras like AC or even if it is crash test approved.

I have been to India too and most people are on scooters and motorcycles. Making a car for under 2500 is a great upgrade for people. Its safer than 2 wheeler vehicles.
