OMG, never use the USPS for packages

DO NOT DO IT

Lost $300 worth of my vitamins.. no sig req from sender so im fucked..

you should as the reciever have the option of signature required, now the place has proof of delivery and I lose??? WTF... sad day in mail order..

and who the fuck sends $300 worth of shit with no signature req in the first place ARGH

GrouchyAdmin 01-21-2008 03:06 PM

$300 of "vitamins", right.

candyflip 01-21-2008 03:08 PM

We send out a few hundred packages via USPS each month, and not a month goes by that we don't "lose" a few packages.

Thankfully they don't charge too much for insurance and we've been compensated fully each time.

mike-al 01-21-2008 03:09 PM

man who the fuck are you to come into my fucking thread and fucking
out me on vitamins.. man this board has some fucking nerve.. fuck you all... i wont be back.. have fun with the fucking trolls

mike-al 01-21-2008 03:14 PM

evidently GFY needs to fire the assholes they hire to start drama

Matt 26z 01-21-2008 03:16 PM

Just as well, those pills don't really work anyway. Just be happy with what you've got.

D 01-21-2008 03:19 PM

Regarding the package, this sounds like a charge-back situation, imho.

Wow dude, maybe you should cut back on those "vitamins". Sounds like youre going into a "vitamin" rage. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Noe 01-21-2008 03:20 PM

You should definitely be able to get your shipment resent to you at no additional charge or your money back from the company that you placed the order with. I do this for my clients, and have gotten money back and product resent from online companies that I have purchased from.

xmas13 01-21-2008 03:21 PM

Lollllllll

starpimps 01-21-2008 03:27 PM

was there insurance on the package? What exactly happened, did you have tracking and did usps say it was delivered?

I had a problem with usps losing my package but after a month or so the seller resent the stuff and just tried to get their money back from usps via the insurance

Honez 01-21-2008 03:42 PM

The problem with USPS and insurance is this. If the USPS scans the package as "delivered", insurance will not cover it as lost during shipping. The way the see it, scanning the package as delivered ends their liability. So if your mail person delivers your package to the wrong address or just scans it and tosses it in his basement cause he is too lazy to ring your doorbell, then you are pretty much screwed. I learned this the hard way over Christmas. Never again will I order anything that is shipped via USPS.

Violetta 01-21-2008 03:46 PM

i still havent had any trouble with them

2012 01-21-2008 03:47 PM

I just got somebodies Christmas present from USPS a few days ago ... lol

MattO 01-21-2008 03:59 PM

I ordered up some stuff from Dell last week, checked the DHL site to track it, and it said "DELIVERED - LEFT AT FRONT DOOR"

Yeah, they fucking left it out front all right, in the fucking rain. And the wet box had a nice big "SIGNATURE REQUIRED" on it.

I had FedEx do this to me with Apple equipment. It was signed for by "F. Rontdoor." When I explained this to Apple, they were less than amused.

Add signature confirmation and delivery confirmation and you're covered. Everything that we have lost has been lost in transit and never made it to the door to be signed for, or even left.

The only problem I have with them is that customer service says that it could take up to 30 days to be delivered. It's not until after 30 days that they'll even look at a claim. But with insurance and those other precautions (that all cost extra too) we've been reimbursed every time.

They're faster and cheaper than UPS Ground, which is why you see a lot of Ebayers using USPS.

Holly 01-21-2008 04:20 PM

My mail lady sucks total and complete cock. I'd kill her if I could get away with it. It's unbelievable how much of my mail she sends back or puts in the wrong box.

My fed-ex guy is super hot, though.

bausch 01-21-2008 04:26 PM

I'm always sleeping when the ups/fed ex people come and I'm so disoriented that I can't even figure out where to sign. I think the ups only saw me awake and alert once and he was shocked...

After Shock Media 01-21-2008 04:38 PM

I guess I am blessed with a fantastic mail lady and trust me I do freak when she gets sick or takes a vacation as my mail goes to hell during those days.
My fed ex guy knows to give me time to get to the door and never leaves packages unattended if signature is required and if not he knows where to place them. Same goes with my UPS guy. I get a lot of medical supplies that are signature not required and they both know to place it in a box on my porch and to leave the key inside the box. Only issue is when I get a fed ex and a UPS same day and box is already locked. :(

damn son, $300 worth of vitamins?

I agree, receiver should have the option...especially on an order that large.

How does the place have proof of delivery if the post office lost it?

It does seem really irresponsible for a company to send out $300 worth of anything with no sig required and sending it with the regular postal carrier...

You're mail man could be stealing shit left and right that has no sig required, shit sucks.

After Shock Media 01-21-2008 04:51 PM

I am also thinking 300.00 on vitamins holy fuck?
Do you not have a wal greens or a GNC near you, or when you say vitamins is that code for HGH or something?

BradM 01-21-2008 04:54 PM

By vitamins he means "anti crazy pills" as he is apparently fucking nuts.

lazycash 01-21-2008 04:55 PM

I hope they are sensitivity vitamins and you get them resent, cause it appears you need them badly.

I had an ex that would spend more than $300 on vitamins every 4 months or so,
and even worse was asking me to buy some of it and become abusive when I didn't. This person really thought they were going to die and always carried like 10 vitmamin bottles with them.

http://www.taonetworks.net/mm5/merch...=Lin-Institute

It was all bullshit placebo type junk.

Nydahl 01-21-2008 04:58 PM

I use them a lot for delivery from US - like them much more then UPS/fedex or DHL- its about the same time delivery and its far far cheaper. At least for me here.
Never got a single problem with them

Geez, can't anyone order 3 months of supplies when they want without some kind of conspiracy or 3rd degree.. So what the fuck.. A man can't order some fucking digestive enzymes and shit... I am about to go fucking Dennis Hopper on your asses.

It was sent USPS and shows delivery confirmed.. that is all.
USPS at this time is uncontactable, maybe due to it being MLK day.
at this point I am about to fucking kill the automated voice bitch on her hotline, who seems to very well understand the work "FUCK" hehehe

the Shemp 01-21-2008 05:25 PM

if the sender specified no signature required, they should be on the hook..

TSGlider 01-21-2008 05:59 PM

Always a nerve-racking experience.

mike-al 01-21-2008 07:02 PM

Did i say Dennis Hopper? Lol, i meant Dennis Leary

mike-al 01-21-2008 07:11 PM

It sure makes you cranky though.

Shouldn't you take a few chill pills too?

J. Falcon 01-21-2008 08:09 PM

fuck your vitamins

Red Ezra 01-21-2008 08:21 PM

wow this thread delivers

96ukssob 01-21-2008 08:32 PM

could be worst... try using DHL. by far the worst shipping company I have ever worked with. They delivered shit to my neighbor and left it outside his door. Good thing im a nosey fucker or I would of missed out on my package.

btw, anytime you send something with no sig required, i think that automatically means the postman/woman gets a free present. think they give a shit about your vitamns?

I have had very good luck with UPS, USPS, and FedEx.
