Stock picks for the short term?
 

So I have this school project where I have 100,000USD and able to buy, short any american stock, option, future, etc.

teacher wants to see 20% in 4 months

any good leads you guys have? :)

LOL. If that was started ~2 weeks ago, I would have made you 20%+++ in one day (~40% actually in two) :-)

20% in two months is easy, buy low, sell high. If you want to risk a bit, buy AAPL before market closes (they will announce earnings then, 01 22). And next day sell, don't wait till it go up more, this won't happen and even if they beat estimates there is no guarantee that stock will go up as market is fucked up at this moment, some bad news will be reported tomorrow and so on, so those can bring market down even if good things happens with earnings.
