Nah...just lie and cheat and mirespresent the terms and conditions of the trial memberships like the big boys do.

Correct me if I'm wrong..but chances are pretty good that VISA receives a hell of a lot more complaints from this type of practice, then lack of content. Throw all the content you want at the surfer..if you've tricked them into a rebilling membership...the consumer is still going to be boiling mad.

this sounds like the best direction to take. What do you think SOul? Sounds like a winner to me.

I find it pathetic that adult sites always get into trouble...

I mean I just talked with clickbank and my agent told:
These changes do not affect ClickBank because we fall within a different merchant category, mainly because we do not handle adult related websites.

well this is one more minus to the list for starting my paysite...

I'm removing all the hardcore beast from my member areas until this whole thing blows over. Hope I don't lose too many members. :(

vegasdude, i was wondering about the non adult sites so far....at least its possitive their madness didnt hit the whole internet

Still I don't understand the logic behind the US. corp. you need to have. Too many parameters not cleared so far. I think in the next days things will look a bit better when we see the whole picture......hopefully

It isn't the adult sites.. it's the few greedy adult webmasters that choose to use deceptive practices in the name of the all mighty dollar.. as well as the customers who want the porn, then decide they don't want to pay, so the chargebacks get crazy..

I'm sure in both instances, the occurances are far greater than non-adult membership sites of any kind..

Yup, its the greedy frickin webmasters...

People get into the paysite business, knowing nothing about how to run things, and then decide its easier to fuck over their members, than to try and retain them.

Its these same webmasters that are getting Fresh traffic... people who spam the fuck out of chatrooms... spam via email, and generally fuck with people...

Now we're stuck with the chronic masturbators that sign up for the $3 trials, and then cancel the same day...

Stop fuckin with the surfers, and lyin to em, and we're all gonna be richer...

Spam, lie to the surfers, annoy the fuck out of em? And you're digging a hole large enough to fit a good hunk of people into it.
