smutnut 01-20-2008 09:52 AM

CDSmith 01-20-2008 10:04 AM

May as well take a moment to update my prediction from just over a month ago...

I said I had a feeling the Patriots would likely go undefeated in the regular season (proven correct), but that they would NOT win the superbowl.

I still have that feeling for some odd reason. And whomever beats them makes no nevermind, it's going to be the upset of the century (If I'm right).

Btw, who is this Boomer idiot on TSN? Every time he refers to the NY Giants he calls them "The New York football Giants"... why? Is there some insane fear that people out there watching the pregame show are so stupid they will confuse the NY Giants with a baseball team from the other side of the country?

The guy drives me crazy.

Who the fuck is Eric and why the fuck would I care? And how can I be a moron when they've already done what they've done.

This started out as a joke but you are definitely the biggest moron I ever heard from

Somebody will probably beat them next year once or twice and Greenbay has me a little scared this year, but the Chargers are a fucking joke, big fat fucking joke with big fat fucking mouths. You've heard it here first 4 hours before the game starts and before you start jerking off at half time if the pats get behind, you should probably save some face until the clock runs out if you've been following football at all this year

Im pulling hard for the home team.

CDSmith 01-20-2008 10:30 AM

All of new england is smug in their superiority and the certainty that their NFL team, once the joke of the league, are now poised without question to take the SB once again.

The rest of the fans of the world, some 100 times that of NE, are itching for an upset like they never have before.... if only to shut down those cocky NE fans and have them STFU for once. :D

Me, I couldn't care either way. I'm secure in the knowledge that my Niners are still the greatest team in NFL history, Joe Montana still the greatest QB ever.

Only biased haters will argue that.

Honestly, I do sympathize. Don't forget I grew up in Boston and thus with the Yankees. But that guy Forest is a moron. I live in LA now, but can't help loving the fact that the Patriots are now the Yankees of the NFL.

You'd understand if your ass grew up sticking to metal bleecher seats in their old stadiums in the winters when they were losing to teams like the Saints and the Falcons

You mean that game where a gang of skinny guys in short pants and t-shirts kick a ball around a big field for 4 hours and have exciting final scores such as 1-0?

That game?

We'll get to talking more about that game AFTER the superbowl. :D

Love it.

It's going to be minus 4 with wind chill factor of minus 14 in Green Bay.

Equipment or not imagine getting hit? I'll be watching while getting nice warm lap dances:pimp

What a ridiculously odd thing to say to someone from Winnipeg, Canada. We have a CFL team and an open stadium, and our winters are colder than anything NE has or will ever see in the history of, well,... history.

I predict some amazing hitting in this game. The players will be banging into each other just to stay warm.

I think the team that has the bst running game will win. Not going to be a ton of passing yards in that cold weather. A lot of dropped passes slick football pressure by both teams

Either way I hope its a good game

:thumbsup

My point wasn't that we were colder than Canada. It was that we never won anything. How old are you, nine? I was trying to be cordial, but, now you can kiss my X New England ass!

We beat the fuck out of the British and your candy Canadian asses welcome them with open arms. The British Ran From Fucking Boston.

Kiss my ass you, Canadian Fag!

The CFL is where losers who can't get real jobs go! :1orglaugh

Parry Sound, Ontario.

but you're right, in trading these last few posts with you I am starting to feel a few maturity levels lighter.

I think I'll cut my losses. :D

No one is beating the Canadians in Hockey. I knew the Bruins were fucked a few years back when they had the best record and they had to play Montreal in the first round and Montreal hadn't done shit at the time.

Zuzana Designs 01-20-2008 11:43 AM

Lets go greenbay

smutnut 01-20-2008 11:47 AM

I have to confess that if I wasn't originally from New England and a huge Patriots fan, (the retarded kid who actually purchased jerseys and stuff growing up) I would hate Tom Brady's fucking guts! How can you possibly like a guy prettier than Brad Pitt, fucking super models with 3 superbowl rings unless your from that town.

I always hate seeing yankee bandwagon fans since I moved to LA and I feel the same way about Patriot bandwagon fans. And this is certainly the town to find them in

a chargers / giants superbowl would be so boring. I'd rather watch a Favre/Brady matchup. No money on the spreads today either. Might do a side bet with somone but nothing through my bookie.

He played most of his pro career with the Bruins, and finished out his career with Chicago Blackhawks.

Btw, what is "cut and run" and how does it enter into things on a message board? :pimp

He's also credited for changing the entire mindset of defense for hockey as far as I have heard. But who knows. You definitely know your shit and have a huge amount of data.

You don't need to back down from me.

Back to football --- Today I'm rooting for the underdog, at least in the first game. SD can lose by up to 14, but no more.
