When you throw a party???

Do you keep your religious right friends away from your swingers and hard core people? I have a pretty open friend policy and my birthday is coming up. Not sure how it will work to have gays over there, large pupils left and voters or other socially responsible people right....

I have just sort of invited them all and figure my friends can deal with one socially awkward evening or it will just light up and be fun as hell. :) Keep the music really loud and the lights low so if you find yourself hitting on a really smokin tranny just tell everyone you didn't know right?

Any advice?

hmm am I the only person on this board with normal friends in addition to lets say non normal friends??? Sort of imagine XXXJay hanging with your neighbors. That is the fear part but maybe they would love Jay and it would all be a great time. I already am the crazy gringo so why the worries heheh.

I don't have any "religious right friends". All of my friends are porno peeps.

Vick! 01-20-2008 12:19 PM

I'd see what kind of party I need .. and i'll invite friends accordingly.

CDSmith 01-20-2008 12:27 PM

Invite everyone and let them handle their own behavior.

Just because someone's a swinger or a religious person doesn't excuse them from acting like idiots. I'd tell anyone I thought was apt to cause trouble to just put their shit aside for one day and shut up and have fun for once.

If they can't do that they're not your friend.

I always invite everyone and hold them responsible for their behavior.
If they dont enjoy themselves they know where the door is.

no religious friends .. mine are all freaks :)

I would force the religious freaks to suck the junk of the same sex porn party people and then have the porn people fuck the same sex religious people in the ass. If that doesn't get everyone into the party, nothing will.

Me neither and I don't plan on having any.

shermo 01-20-2008 11:09 PM

Hmm..I've never had friends leaning towards the right, so I'm not sure how a mix would be. The closest was my wedding, and oddly enough, the porn people were on great behavior, and the non-porn people never suspected a thing. :)

You have religous right freinds - how open minded you are - maybe u should tell them to be.

After Shock Media 01-20-2008 11:15 PM

Serve plenty of alcohol. Have waivers posted on all entrances that the party is being video taped and do so. Then let nature take its course.

bausch 01-20-2008 11:41 PM

I don't throw parties. I don't have such a "wide assortment of friends" that I would have to worry about keeping people apart.

I usually prefer spending birthdays alone by myself. Just eat something by myself and watch tv, and then sleep. Just another day, another dollar.

Sarah_Jayne 01-21-2008 03:58 AM

My religious right 'friends' are pretty much family and since they live on the other side of an ocean I manage to keep them apart from the rest.

ADL Colin 01-21-2008 04:08 AM

No religious friends.

EuroRev_Stacey 01-21-2008 06:14 AM

They do with an emulsifier so do not say never.

alby_persignup 01-21-2008 06:41 AM

I throw parties but not in the house and I always makes sure they behave properly.

MBS Auto 01-21-2008 08:22 AM

try not to mix up your crowd like that!
