anyone using nginx out there?
 

Curious about what people's experience is with it. I'm noticing apache takes a while to serve up my thumbnails. If I reload the page twice, it's cached locally on the server and serves it faster. Wondering why it takes so long though. I'm not serving so much and I have RAM available so I'm not sure why there is an initial delay. I have my cache turned off in the browser in case you guys are wondering. Anybody experience similar things?

www.theboobwall.com is the site I'm referring too. If you turn off the cache it will load slowly the first time and quicker the first time even though the same amount of data is being served up.

been using it for years using apache for static content is stupid.

I use it to serve thumbs on my tgp network... it REALLY makes a difference in server load.

For static content it absolutely rocks!!!! tiny memory footprint and lightning
fast...:thumbsup

yeah nginx truly rocks for images and other static content!
oh and your page loaded pretty fast for me.
