Little Buddha at the Palms

Had dinner there one night during the show.
I wasn't too hungry so I just ordered some sushi.

Have to say that it was some of the worst sushi I ever had.
The other dishes I'm told were very good though.

I got a bill from there and I never ate there. Getting the Palms accounts receivable staff on the phone is nearly impossible, been waiting for callbacks for nearly 3 days now.

Really?

I ate there twice and loved it!

Second time I went back FOR the Sushi bar.

The Lobster and Spider rolls were well worth the second trip!

fuzebox 01-19-2008 02:10 PM

I just had the ahi tuna but it was pretty damn good. I've heard mostly good things about the place from everyone else too...

What sushi did you order?

p.s. Chris enjoyed our bathroom chat :1orglaugh

I remember eating there when it first opened (4-5+ yrs ago?) and the food and service sucked ass.

Lil Buddha was not soooo good and soooo SLOW. 9 steakhouse was probably the best meal i had in a long time. The mexican restaurant next to Lil Buddha was surprisingly very good too. 24/7 cafe was only good for breakfast and that wasnt anything special.

I've had nothing but good experiences there, and I eat there all the time. I've never had the sushi, so I can't comment on that, but the mahi mahi, and the waygu kobe steak were both good. PLus, they had this addictive wasabi aioli that was addictive.

I ate 3 times at Panda Express - it was delicious and did not cost more than 8 bucks ;)

wow.

i've eaten there many times. i love their sushi. some of the best i've ever had.

what did you order?

I heard very good things about the Little Buddha restaurant, but I never did eat there. I wasn't impressed with 9ine at all. The appys were ok, but nothing to write home about, and I heard the steaks were gristle and dry. The room service eggs were watery when I asked for medium and the whole breakfast plate was heavily salted. The buffet for lunch was salty, overcooked, and uninspired. For their prices, the food was awful. I almost wished I had a kitchenette so I could cook for myself.

./end grumble

I had some spicy hotate (scallops) that were good, but I didn't like the tuna rolls at all. The tuna seems to be shredded or something and it just didn't taste fresh. I'm not even a sushi snob. I just expected more I guess.

Yeah it was cool meeting you too. That night was some great partying!

Dinner was great!

Awesome crew we had too :winkwink:

I forgot about the 24/7 Cafe! Went there once for lunch and once for breakfast. They had a great menu for Chinese food. The shrimp and lobster sauce w/ fried rice was really good and the greasy/buttery egg, cheese and bacon croissant definitely hit the spot! :thumbsup :thumbsup

MikeVega 01-20-2008 08:14 AM

[illnet]-Romeo 01-20-2008 08:57 AM

Chris sushi places like with a ton of specialty rolls it's best to ask the waiter whats best. We went and the waitor recomended the Palms roll which was pretty good. And I thought the Tuna sashimi was real fresh...

Maybe it was just the sake bombs!!
