Sales are super slow last 3 days
 

I noticed 3 things:

Sales went from pretty good to really fucking bad, 3 days in a row now.
50% raise in cancellations of existing memberships.
50% less spam.

How odd is that.

Notice it every year. We do awesome into this convention an ddo sucky right after. no idea why that is. This year is even more obvious as we had more time in January but hit "this week" and "last week" on the stats remote. Really tells the story.

Busted my ass and doubled my traffic this week, but my ratios were all over the board. Had some horrible ratios, that i've never seen before, but today looks better so far.

I think all the talk on the news about the economy/recession is fucking up sales...

Yeah, real shitty the last few days. First part of the month kicked ass. Wonder if it has anything to do with the recent troubles of the economy and the shitty news coming out about it. Maybe people are scared to dump their disposable income into porno right now.

That is wild, I have almost a 50% drop the past 3-4 days also. Has not happened before.

If it's any consolation, it's going to be ass fucking cold in most of the US for the next few days. This mixed with a 3-day weekend for some and it could be a nice pickup. I just stepped outside to get the paper and my hands were numb by the time I got back. -3 degrees, I along with many in the Midwest will not be leaving the house this weekend.

No slowdown here. We've been BLAZING since December, 26th.

Don't panic, it happens to me ,also. Strange is that on christmas and new year, I've beat all records in sale, ad suddenly ,terrible drop down.

I never see a program come in these threads saying yeah we're seeing low numbers as well.

ALWAYS in these kind of threads you will see sponsors jumping in saying we're having the best day ever. They always had a record day the day before a thread like this. How funny.

Actually now i think of it, in all my years on gfy i don't recall ever seeing a sponsor program mention they had a shitty day.

every year after christmas sales spike up for a few weeks and then they drop back, thats the "holidays" for internet porn, people just got their computers for the first time and the trend was much more prominent previous years

Actually after 10 years I can say we are seeing weak sales this month. I suspect since most of our buyers are in the US the economy is taking it's toll on discretionary income. The pie is cut into so many slices that that when it shrinks in total size we all feel the hit.

My advice to you is, get out of porn so we can pickup a bigger slice. :)

Internext sponsors tallied up the receipts from their parties and realized they need to come up with some extra cash in the short term.

Don't worry... They will be back to normal around Feb 3rd.

It's because of the cristmas credit card bills...and the fact that webmasters have been lazy during the holidays.

Yes, sales are super slow... but all these excuses are a great pretext from sponsors to SHAVE more...
