can anyone here speak japanese?
i'm totally set on learning japanese. at first i thought maybe taking up french again would be a good idea, but then i remembered that i can't fucking stand french. so then i thought, hey fuck it, lets learn some japanese! i've started going through some basic online lessons, and am looking at picking up some sort of 'learn japanese' type of kit off amazon. how did you learn to speak it? s it super hard to get a grasp on?

I think learning one of the forms of Chinese may be more profitable in the long run or at very least Spanish.

A Riddle Ranguage Goes A Wrong Way...
I lived in Japan for five years, and I am married to a Japanese native, plus I have used various books and tapes to further my understanding of the language.
Short of immersing yourself in the culture, the best method I had for learning was to take college classes (if you have a Junior/Community College in your area, this would probably be the most economical method). This way you can practice with others, and have your pronunciation corrected before you develop bad habits. Gambatte!!! ADG |
