Need Hosting Advice
 

Hey I now have a dedicated server at aplus.net with 8 GB or RAM Dual processors I think they are 1.4 GHZ , 100 Bit switch and 1 250 GB HD. Problem is I only get 3000MB of transfer a month so now I am over that my last bill was 510.00. The server is like 300 and the extra data transfer is 197.


Anyone know of a RELIABLE as in NO DOWN TIME company that can give me a better deal and have FFMPEG installed on the server for me ? Here is my breka down

You need to run the fuck away from Aplus.net fast.

Doing a search on any webmaster board, or any search engine will unleash about a thousand diferant reasons not to do business with those peices of shit.

Honestly, do some colo if you need that type of equipment. Paying 75.00/month for ram is ... stupid.

Then, get a dedicated connection, like 20 Mbps ...

BTW, I am not offering you that. We wil eventually get into that part of the business, but are waiting for the new DC to be completed on Nun's Island.
