I spent the last week in Las Vegas for the 25th annual AVN awards and the two conventions that bookend it: The Adult Entertainment Expo and The Internext Expo.
This was year was different for me than all my previous years at the show as I was very focused and motivated with a clear and defined business strategy. I had a great group of people that I empowered to represent my content on various media formats. This enabled me to concentrate on other facets of my business.
I am the new director of sales at KSEX.com. I had numerous meetings with companies that wanted to add the KSEX live programming to their network. We had some very positive results and we are very happy to announce that some truly outstanding companies are going to be carrying the KSEX feeds within the next two weeks. I also met with many organizations that will be having their own company branded shows on KSEX. Finally, I was able to sign up several new key sponsors to advertise in the more traditional video commercials that air on KSEX.
As a result of new partnership between KSEX and the World?s Largest Video on Demand Company, I was ?drafted? by the above mentioned company to represent to them on the red carpet before the AVN awards show and do video interviews for them. This was a real honor as the only companies that were allowed to do video interviews on the red carpet were: Playboy, AVN, Howard Stern and the one I was working for. I got to interview Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, Dave Navarro, Jenna Jameson, Mary Carey and many more. I was completely over the top with my questions and at least we thought I was the most entertaining, or at least most controversial of the interviewers. I want to thank Garret of Annie Creamcheese for dressing me for this special occasion. I also want to thank Bishop and Jerry for giving me this opportunity.
At the AEE show I released 5 new Porno Dan DVD's. These titles were released by Studio B. My partner is this venture Tom Ashley did a great job of representing my new product. He was able to secure brick and motor, cable and satellite deals for all four titles. I could not have not been more pleases with his results.
Somehow my wife and I were able to shoot a total of total 6 scenes with 6 girls during the AEE show. We want to personally thank Erin Daye, Lana Devious, Amber Foxx, Carrie Moon, Alana Thomas, and Alexis Golden. Unlike previous years where I went out and got wasted every night and I only made it out 3 of the 6 nights I was in Vegas and only drank on one of them. I am still amazed how much restraint I showed and much we got done.
The show then shifted to Internext which focuses on the internet and mobile sides of the adult business. Again, I was lucky enough to be represented by some very talented people. I am the exclusive producer for a new cash program, Disco Dinero. We launched this program at Internext with our first new site,
http://www.SecretAgentPornstar.com. Akarin, A.K.A. A-Bomb, is the program's operations director, and Disco Fred is the administrative and financial director. Both gentlemen did an amazing job at the show. We hope that you will find this site, and the others that follow it, to be highly entertaining.
In addition, I was able to set up meeting between my partners in the mobile porn channel, Midnitemonkey.com and several gay content providers. Jasper, Rowdy and Lucky are going to be launching a new division of MidniteMonkey.com that will feature gay content. They were able to come to terms with some of these content owners. We all anticipate huge things in the mobile porn market in the New Year.
I need to send a special thanks to my cameraman Ruck for following me around all week and shooting fantastic candid video of my adventures. We will have the video up and available for you to enjoy in within the next couple weeks.
In short this was my most productive and fruitful trip to the AVN show I have ever had. While I did not go and raise hell every night like I normally do, I was able to much more. I laid the foundation for a very successful 2008 for me and my company.
