It would be really awesome if it inserted the date for you. If it does have this functionality, implement it on your test site so people will know.

Would be great if it linked the description to the gallery underneath the videos.

When I mouse over an admin icon it should tell me what that icon does. I am using FF.. This might require both an alt tag and title tag.

Importing videos should take me along an assembly line. I should use the FHG importer and when it accepts my input it should take me to what I just imported so that I can make any edits I need to do and then give me an option to select them all and make them live. (with todays date).

An easy way to add videos and set their dates en mass. So I can add videos and set them to add them over a period of weeks.. Set it and forget it. Not have to fuck with each videos date.

Rating system. Simple 5 stars rating system would be great.

does TEVS encode all the videos to flash format?

TEVS does not. But it does allow you to hotlink sponsors videos.

Seems if you post before the time limit, it actually does the post and then tells you about the time limit.... GFY is on crack.

TEVS does have a rating system.

It can do most of that, You just need to customize the template

it does 90% of everything you ask so far. YOu just need to code the php templetes abit. As far as speed it pulls galleires fast on my servers. As it states about 1 a second how much faster you need it :)

V_RocKs, In TEVS you can pre-approve videos up to 2010. You go into videos > pre-approve > select the day you want and click Add Search.
The select the specific fields you want and then once those videos show select the ones you want and they are added to that day.
Repeat this process 30 times and you dont need to touch TEVS for 30 days.

You can change the description to display under the video or wherever else on the page by editing the html/php code.
Not included in the demo as silly people delete everything.

I wans't using FF when I designed this but seeing as there is a FEW that do, those changes will be made for v1.1

When videos are imported they are manually given a zero date. 0000-00-00, this means they are not placed on a date yet.

I own the script and I love it. It is an experiment for me so I see it more as a long term project than an instant money maker. The only thing I think it needs to really take off is to have sponsors come on board and provide 2 minute video clips that can be imported like the free hosted galleries currently can. That is the ultimate solution to fighting illegal content Tube sites. That is there are so many Tube sites with sponsored content that JOE surfer has to view 1000s of tube sites with sponsored content before he finds one that is providing illegal content.

Is it possible to customize the advertising on the video page for each video using this script? Or at least customize the ads for each site being promoted? For example, different ads for inthevip vs bignaturals etc?

Bausch, when you add a video, you select the sponsors paysite you want to promote. Under each sponsors site you add to your database you can add unlimited banners/html adverts. Check the video tutorials here.

What would a big site wet up with TEVS do to your bandwidth bill, providing you weren't hotlinking vids or something?

Tests showed me 40,000 surfers over a month was around 250GB bandwidth watching about 100 videos in total (2 mins each).

Ok, I see that now. I just watched all the videos which answered most of my questions. That was one of the most comprehensive detailed tutorials I have ever seen for an adult webmaster related product.

One last question, is there an option to add keywords and text and ads to each channel? I see the option to add banners to the video pages but what about the channel pages?

is it able to put ad's in the video's like on megarotic.com?

Bausch, There is a description for each channel, this is usually for webmaster info only, but you could use it for a keyword option with some small code changes. There is no banners/ for channels.

Justin, no. As most of the videos are wmv file, it has not been added. Im currently talking to a few flash desiging about a custom player for TEVS but at this stage, that is not an option to add a video at the start or end of the flash clip.

You're hotlinking movies from FHG directories that the sponsors provide. They don't get moved to your sever, so that wouldn't be possible.

Candyflip, thats true. Most of the time, but some webmasters upload flv flash clips. Hence the function to add a advert infront of the movie. But im still working on that part.

That I like the idea of...as opposed to the watermark. Looking forward to that one.

I was able "theme" my TEVS install pretty easily. I'm happy with the results.

One minor issue and I'll have 100,000 videos loaded up in the next week.
