Do I have a virus? Spyware? WTF!?
 

I'm having an issue and I can't figure out what it is. Running Spybot Search & Destroy doesn't find anything.

While surfing the internet, minding my own business, a new window will pop-up out of nowhere, but not load any content before it quickly closes again, as if it had never happened.

This will happen randomly and occasionally. Nothing ever actually loads in the window.

It's as if there is a program running that's trying to pop up a window to tell me something. Or as if a site is trying to serve a pop up and something is killing it.

It's driving me crazy because I know it's SOMETHING. Something that shouldn't be there!

Any ideas? help?

Do a ctrl-alt-del and then check what all is running in processes (google anything you are unsure of) and go from there imho :)
