Starting a pay site and have questions...
 

I used to be in the adult business building TGPs and free site matrixs but got out of the business about 2 years ago.

Recently, a coworker of mine expressed interest in investing into an adult site. I figured it would be better to have her invest in making a pay site.

I am good with design and programming and know the adult game pretty well.

However, I do have a few questions.

Let me start by saying I have always had good results from the tranny niche. So I figured the first site would be an exclusive tranny site.

Once I have the company name registered, the tour designed, the advertising material ( FPA, banners, etc, etc ) and a CCBill account, I would like to know what scripts you all suggest.

I will need a script to run the affiliate program.

Any suggestions?

Also, will this script handle multiple tour designs for the site?

What sort of hosting should I setup when in production phase?

Are there any other scripts that I will need to worry about?

More than just one coworker is interested in investing into this...Does anyone have any experience with multiple people partnering up for a site. I will be doing most of the work, they only want to invest. Is this a smart thing to do?

Partnerships hardly ever work out. The more partners the worse. Make sure they don't expect any profit for at least 3 months and thats if you have a good 3 months.

* ccbill is a good choice

* if you wanna do multiple tours ccbill can handle that - nats as well, tracking without nats on multiple tours isnt possible unless you custom code

custom backend with POTD FHG exporter etc, like I said hit up a coder who can do that

* No unless its a solid company everything in writing and prof done, dont do the lets split 25% and see where it goes strategy

when you suggest getting a coder to do that, are you suggesting to get a coder to add on the the NATS script to add special features like POTD and FHG...?

The tranny niche should be a good niche... Good luck on the project. It is SHITLOAD of work running paysite(s) and hard to get good affiliates, but other than that it is fun!
