i doubt it's anything that crazy. i've seen anything from airports to oil refineries to military training bases blacked out like this...

Zoom in one step away from maximum and you can see that it is nothing more than dirty ass liquid.

that would be the local sewage farms, the two circles to the north look like spray bar areas "the black hole" looks like a body of water most likely treated sewage. i hear george bush has a secret fallout bunker beneath it!

Ok, I win, whatever it is, it happens to be right in the middle of CFB Suffield. One of the largest (i believe the actual largest, but cold lake might be bigger) Canadian Forces training base in Alberta. I hunt antelope just off the edge of the base. I know this for a fact. Your welcome...

The "faces" in the hills to the Southwest are pretty cool.

somewhere in southern alberta is the infamous ipod indian. can't remember where, but google will get you the coordinates. it's just a lease road into an oil lease in some hills, but it looks pretty cool from above...

Yeah... same guy, it seems... lots of names for that geological formation: ipod indian, badlands guardian, indean head, etc...
