What server specs is needed? Hosting help pls
 

Hello all,

Can someone pls tell me, What server specs is needed to stream movies as big as 1GB each __ With 30 - 50 people onsite at the same time.
Cache: ?
DDR: ?
Band: In ?Mbps

Pls start from average. Cos i know, something super will do.

1 gig would be an hour long movie ... So you are talking about 50 gigs/bw per hour ....that is 37200 gigs a month .

You need a 100 mbps connection to start with and a good server ( Dual or Quad zeon ).

Look aroung for prices . I am not competitive on that ( I specialize in class C IP's ) at 2500.00 / month .
