First of all, you'll need a U.S. Work Visa.

You are a FOREIGNER.

A designer with no education, and no degree.... you just described 95% of all the "designers" in this industry, and they seem to make a shit load of cash. Like a hundred bucks and shit.

My girlfriend has a "real job" as a webdeveloper/training specialist. She has her Master's in Information Technology and works for an Ivy League university. With her new year raise, she just clears the $100k mark for the first time.

If you are good at what you do, you will have no problem finding a job, especially in something like web design. Most employers know you cannot teach artistic talent...
