FACT: All revolutionists and people fighting opression have been called "Radicals"
In this day and age the word 'Radical' and 'Terrorist' are thrown around like a wet towel.
Malcom X was considered a Radical George Washington was considered a radical and terrorist by Britain when he revolutionised America. Martin Luther King was considered a radical when appealing for black rights. Nelson mandela was labelled a terrorist and radical in his day And alot more. It is no different today with the people in Iraq and Palestine fighting arpatheid and invasion from foreign opressors. :thumbsup |
Though I agree with your basic premise, it is different when today's "terrorists" attack civilian targets.
That difference is only compounded, imho, when you consider that it's religious zealousness - and not political/philosophical ideals - that fuel a good number of the "terrorist" attacks. I still hold to my long-standing point (in agreement with you), however, that the 'War on Terror' is a profoundly stupid way to put it, and should insult the intelligence of every man, woman, and child in America... if not everyone in the West. We're at war with a noun. :error |

Though yeah I was mainly reffering to the people who are merely defending their country (Iraq, LEbanon & Palestine), :thumbsup |
