That's a part of it for sure, when I was DJing regularly and promoting clubnights I had girls coming up to me and offering drinks etc.

I think its also because as a DJ you are somehow more accessible. Girls don't mind coming up to you and chatting.

it's called "social value". women are naturally attracted to the man they feel has the higher social value in a room. looks, attitude, all that shit comes second to how they feel their social status may be elevated by being in contact with said man. when everyone in the club knows your name, is watching you, and you have their attention, your social value is quite high. you are essentially at the center of the party. it doesn't matter what shitty fucking song you're spinning, if you're ass ugly, or if you're a total prick. women will be attracted to the fact that your social value amongst the people in the club is alot higher than some random dude pounding shots at the end of the bar .

social aptitude is all it takes to get laid. which is the reason why it's always going to be the guy who can manage to continuously keep his mouth going throughout the entire night who takes the girl home, no matter how full of shit he is. all it takes is some talking. if you can't open your mouth you're not going to get anywhere. if you put yourself in a position where your social value is already elevated, women will approach you, the toughest part of the equation is already solved for you. and after the first approaches you, the next will be soon to follow. it's a snowball effect. when one women takes notice that others are noticing you, she's going to start paying attention too. they're competitive by nature. ever notice when you seem to be having a good night out with the ladies, that it seems to be a really good night out? they love to try and move in on one another's kills...

let me tell you from experience. its not all its cracked up to be. i had a very tough time getting women to drop the whole "im going to hangout with the dj" thing, and actually notice my personality, and that i was a good person, and yadda yadda. all they wanna do is brag to their girlfriends that they're with the dj from the hottest club in town. big whoop. if you're looking for shallow, piece of different ass every night, then you're in the right spot. personally, after almost 15 years of being a club dj in 10 different countries and prob half the states in the USA, i got tired of it after a few years. its so shallow. you end up turning into their meal ticket for the club. you get them and their friends into the clubs, they want drinks for free because they know the djs got the hookup, yadda yadda. the list goes on. the girls that like djs are party girls. girls that want to get fucked by someone in a position of power. they jump around from party guy to party guy, to promoters, to securities at the door. one day i am going to write a book.

That's a part of it too... When you are easily avaliable and meet a couple hundreads women a week, some of them will find you attractive somehow, all you have to do is close.

But beeing one of the coolest guy in the room makes you much more valuable to woman. They are cooler just by knowing you.

But you're right they get way too much credit... I'm a producer, and I could be talking to a groupie about how I produced the track that is playing and she's currently dancing too and still, shed just be like "cool, don't you think the DJ is so drreaaamy".

no, but i had this idiot once spill a drink all over the left side turntable. this guy was a piece of work. he wanted to be a dj so bad. all the other djs in town would treat him like shit, but i was nice and talked to him and yadda yadda, but he wasn't dj material. as much as it may look to some people like a talentless art, it really takes skill and artistic abilities and musical experience to be a dj. a real dj anyhow.

so anyhow, this guy just turned into a leech on me. every club, every night, he was there, hanging like a shadow by the dj booth. telling everyone that i was teaching him and that i thought he was gonna be the next big dj. yah right. well, long story short, he was wasted one night, tried to sit a drink on a ledge next to the record and spilled it all over the deck. ice cubes, red bull, and vodka all over the fucking place. knocked the needle off the record. lucky for him it was 1030pm or so and the club was kinda empty. if he did that shit at 100am when the room is packed and i was going off and in the zone, i would have killed him. the club did actually make him pay for the maintenance to the deck, and i banned him from standing anywhere near me or the turntables after that.

i kinda felt for the guy. he wanted to be "that guy" so bad. but he wanted it for the wrong reasons. he wanted to get girls, and be "the man" when thats not what djing is about.

i'm a producer and a retired dj. tbh, i like being retired and just producing only now. a chick doesn't even know what a producer is. they live to shop and fuck. i don't expect much more from those kinds of chicks.

yup. everyone thinks its so easy, but its the same as playing in a band or anything else. if you can't read your crowd and move them, you're fucked.

there used to be this dude in san diego that would shoot his mouth off all the time that he could dj and blah blah and that all of us are just record changers. so we stuck him on the tables. it lasted about one record until he realized he couldn't hang and it was a lot more than changing records.

whats 100% true is that the dj has the highest social value. everyone knows him, everyone likes him, and he is controlling people and making them happy, this is a natural attraction for anyone, and girls go crazy

this is something money cannot buy,everyone wants to be important in the social scene. the guys with no money start to hustle drugs to be important and be a part of things. the millionaires and high rollers buy the drugs and feed to the girls or build their own clubs to feel important and use this towards building their social value.

the late night club/social scene is centered around millionaires with legit and non legit money, strippers, prostitutes, players and drug dealers. these girls jobs revolve around looking hot so they are good eye candy for the club and the drugs keep people connected who otherwise have no importance whatsoever.

this is the club scene in a nutshell.

i just dj for fun and yes i get all the attention and high social value, but i really only care about hearing the latest tunes in a banging sound system and making people have a good time

i've worked in the clubs in the past, as a doorman and behind the bar. robfantasy basically has the clubgame summed up as clearly as it can be. drugmoney and highrollers run the show. all it takes is a month running the door before you know everybody who matters in the place. it starts to become apparent quickly when people are slipping you 20 bucks and introducing themselves for no apparent reason. you learn quick who the real vip's are and they grease you up good for not hassling them along the way. spend a year or so in the club scene in any given city and start partying with industry people and you'll see how tight the REAL community behind it actually is, and just what the driving forces behind it really are. everyone is friends with everyone, and at least half of them are hustling something somewhere. its a funny little scene, i'm glad i never go too caught up in it...

i always considered the club scene a place for people who are losers anywhere else to become stars in their own eyes...

Statistic is the only reason is the only reason DJ have more women that any others man. DJ have more exposure and meet more people and he is easily available. im working as dj for more than 10 years now i meet and talk to an average of 800 girls a year and i've exposure to these girls -they see me and have a first contact with me- is not that im cute or uglier then an other man, if only one girls out of of 100 wanna put my dick inside her mouth it give me 8 girls a year this is only statistics:-)
