Still Money In Gallery-Submitting?
 

Over my morning coffee, I got to thinking about the old days and realized I actually miss submitting galleries (it's been 2 years or more). I think my wife would consider me crazy, but I'm considering devoting some time to it. Is there still money to be made?

If you got funds to start then yes. Be prepared to spend a few grand and not make good sales for a month or two tho.

The entry barrier and costs of operation are much much different than they were in the past though, so you might wanna keep that in mind when trying to figure if "its worth it"!

I'm more than happy to invest in any business as long as I have a good chance of a return. I think my major expense now would be partner accounts / submit passes (I have a lot of already underutilized hosting) and opportunity cost.

Good to know money can still be made and higher entry barriers are probably a good thing.

You will be competing with 10000 orientals and eastern Europeans where $30 pays the rent plus traffic to tgp sites is constantly falling due to tubes/torrents.

QFTT you'll find Indians and other people with bad english dominating in something like this.

Look at the TGP sites. Do they look short on galleries? :P

Yeah, sure.
Just be prepared to put some effort into it.
And, use fresh content and simple, nice designs.
Don't try to re-invent the wheel - won't work. You're the fish in this game so play by common rules or you won't get very far.

Submitting galleries is BS, waste of time ... working for peanuts.

I specialize in gallery submitting and developed good working system how to spend few hours per day and make 3k+ monthly profit from it ;) So ... there is definitely money in submitting, but you have to know how to do it ;)

Yah Blogs are better traffic less work. I have a blog that bting in more traffic to my paysite then 25k to the galleries. I am using Elepahant list and a few others.

Holy cow - never expected so many replies!

I do a ton of things online and they run pretty smoothly. The attraction of gallery submitting is because I just used to love it. And, honestly, if Frank says it makes money, then it must. No offense dude, but he'd be the first to tell me I was a dumb asshole! lol

I posted this thread thinking out-loud. It's given me lots to consider though, so thanks.
