WARNING: Boobs Has Scammed Me and Many Others Here
 

Bought about $240 in permanent links on some sites. A week later the sites were down. Asked him about it, claimed the sites were moving to a new host (he also tried selling me more links on those same sites). Months later and they are still down.

Here is another individual with the same exact scenario having been ripped off for hundreds of dollars.

I know permanent isn't permanent. But I also know that charging guys hundreds of dollars for links that are gone in a week is pretty ridiculous. I'm an understanding guy. If he can't pay his hosting bill, decided to sell the sites, fine. Just tell me, return my money, no hard feelings. Instead he has ignored e-mails and posts regarding the matter while continuing to operate on the forums.

As for proof, I have ICQ logs, paypal transactions, whatever is needed.

That's just what I've seen lately here lately. He's been called out by others on other boards for trading links for a site on one forum while trying to sell that site on the other.

Like I said, I'm an understanding guy. People forget about links they've sold, trades they've made, etc. Sites get dropped for all sorts of reasons. Just come forward and let me know what's going on.

I don't call people out on the boards much at all. And sure $240 isn't a lot of money and just part of the game. But I think it's time people were warned about this guy before they do business with him. Sure he's made good dealings with some people, but he's also ripped off quite a few people here too. I don't give a shit about the money, I just don't want to see anymore honest guys on this board get ripped off. Do business with this guy at your own risk.

I'm a witness of Boobs ignoring that whole situation.

I have had a good experience in getting a blog from Boobs for which I may have overpaid a little - but I also got offered by Boobs that same links package before that I turned down due to the fact that at the moment of offering them to me, the sites were already down (same excuse: changing servers)

I just hope your situation gets resolved.

Boobs, you should at least respond - there's probably many other ways you can solve these problems even if you can't stick to the original deal.

I too have been scamed for inbound links. Typically if someone offers a lifetime hard link for 10$ I do it, but maybe I should just do like 1$ a month or something and pay out once a month.

If you used Paypal, file a dispute. If he didn't physically send you something in the mail, you can more than likely get your money back because he didn't keep his end of the bargain. I had someone scam me out of some money this way, so I don't see why using it legitly wouldn't work too.

Except that are many refutable members of this forum who vouch for him and say they have done business with him without any problems... And how the fuck is he "snooping around" for people to scam when everytime he sells a website which is all I've personally seen him do the transaction happens quickly and smoothly.

I don't care if he does 5 good transactions for each one he scams the shit out of. This is how Tracy from Fantasy Content and Warren Davis started. Some shady "reputable" member vouched for them and next thing you know, tons of people got scammed badly. There are some serious signs there is something fishy about boobs. More and more people got scammed and he doesn't address any of those claims. He would disappear for a while then resurface with new threads selling something. People ask if he could take care of those he took money from but never delivered, yet he ignores it all...

I'm sure he has done good business with a lot of people. But there are probably 10 people on this forum that he has completely scammed. That is a considerable amount of people. A lot of known scammers on this board work in the same capacity. They do good business with 90&#37; of the people while scamming the other 10%.

I'm sure people will do business with him, that's fine. But it is fair to warn others on this forum that this guy has scammed a lot of people out of what looks like thousands of dollars. This forum has a lot of scammers and thieves lurking around. A thread like this is just sharing experiences, it is good for the board as a whole. Buyer beware!

i sold links then i sold the websites but i made an agreement with the buyer that they had to keep the paid links up, the new buyer decides to take them down.

whenever anybody bought anything from me, i always delivered, even before i receive payments sometimes... this was a bad look for me when the new buyers decided to dick my part of the deal. but get it straight ive always delivered

Dude were you seriously expecting that the new site owners would keep the links up on the site after they gained ownership from you? Come on, are you that thick??

I most seriously doubt that it is you who will be having the final say in this judging from the reactions above.

Maybe only a small percentage of your deals turn out to be dodgy but there seems to be a pattern.

People bought links from you, not the new owner of the domain. The contract was with YOU. If the new owner doesn't follow your requests, you either take back the domain from him or refund the people their money.

And you haven't delivered for everyone. There are nearly 10 people on this board who have said you scammed them. Won't be long before it's 11, 12, 13, and so on. Buyer beware!

This is simple math - you didn't deliver what you took the money for. Nobody cares what you did with the site. You took the money and links are not there. That means you owe every one a refund. Plus interest!

yeah its been noticed already, very shady tacticts. its the same if i would decide to sell my big site and just before selling I would sell out some "permanent links" on it

Many of the sites you sold links on weren't sold. I just went through the list, the hosting simply went down on them. You also asked me on ICQ if I wanted to buy more links on those sites when they were down. You told me you were moving to a new host and that was the reason they were down. Just man up and say you couldn't afford the hosting bill. Those sites were never sold.
