i dont know how to incorporate the script (thumbnails) to my design.

in the admin go to the tools->template maker ...

You should see something like this when you fool around with that ...
<a href="#url0_group1_categoryALL#50"><img src="#pic0_group1_categoryALL#" border="0"></a>

pop the output into your design and tweek it ...
