I say the Los Angeles Lakers have a better record then your Portland Blazers before the All Star Break in Mid Febuary. Loser has to fly the other person out to their city and get them excellent seats against either the Portland Game in L.A. on Feb 26th, Or Lakers against Portland in Portland on Feb 29th...

The Lakers are hot!! Who would have thought. Same with the Blazers. And hate to tell ya but the Blazers ARE the better team.

But this is a tough bet even if I could honor it. Why? Because the Blazers are starting a very very long road trip starting now. January is going to be a very tough test. Even I the biggest of Blazer fans find it impossible to duplicate Decembers 2001 like record.

Your Lakers very well may have the better record becasue of this. But Im tellin ya we will have the better record at the end of the season, and WE WILL BEAT THE LAKERS when we play them!!!

I understand your Portland is going on the road, so I will even give you 2 games. That means if your Portland Blazers are within 2 games of the lakers during all star break you win... exactly 2 games will mean a push of course.

I just wanted to thank you for not taking this wager.. Andrew Bynum is out for 8 weeks. The lakers will start to lose again, and I'm sure the Blazers will have a better record then the lakers before the All Star Break.. We just need to hold our own, until Bynum comes back.
