My sleep patteren has reversed again :(

Its a real pain - I fight to get into days and withing a few weeks I am totally in night mode again.....

I know all the tricks to get out of it but I just cant keep it up. :Oh crap

mike-al 01-10-2008 01:45 AM

time to have a baby

Dirty F 01-10-2008 01:46 AM

Funny you mention that, the last 2 days/nights ive been busy switching to day mode again. It's fucking horrible. If i don't force myself to sleep at certain times, which often doesn't work anyway, i'm awake all night and sleep during the daytime. I see no reason for it. Your body isn't supposed to want that.

Anyway, i think i'm fine for a week or so now.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 01-10-2008 01:50 AM

I was reading the news and some dude threw like 4 of them off a bridge.
I guess they are fairly abundant.

mike-al 01-10-2008 01:50 AM

yeah that dude was nuts, perhaps a bit sleep deprived?

If you want to go back to your normal body clock, please get a sunshine in the morning and exercise. Drink a hot milk too before BED time :)

Gman.357 01-10-2008 03:21 AM

I'm having the same problem actually. I'm trying to get back on days, and even stayed up for 24hrs just so I can get to sleep at night. Went to bed at 8pm last night, but woke up at 1am, and could not fall back asleep again.

It sucks.

robfantasy 01-10-2008 04:09 AM

SAME FUCKING PROBLEM

6am here, and CANT FUCKING SLEEP

FUCKKK

Damian_Maxcash 01-10-2008 04:13 AM

It must be a webmaster thing.....

hjnet 01-10-2008 04:13 AM

Work out, if that doesn't make you tired work out more.

V_RocKs 01-10-2008 04:21 AM

When will there be an Internext for people like us?

The floor would open at 4pm and end at 2am. Then we would start partying.

cezam 01-10-2008 05:19 AM

same probs here... you're not alone bro :(

I have that same problem, if i stay up for 24 i actually have to wait till at least 10 or 11 in the evening because if i sleep at 8 i wake up again a few hours later.

cezam 01-10-2008 05:24 AM

i know many people with sleeping pattern fucked up... all of them are either webmasters or programmers :warning

i wonder why is that?

CurrentlySober 01-10-2008 06:01 AM

Thats actually one of things I enjoy most about being a webmaster...

I can follow my own body clock. If I wanna sleep... I sleep. If Im awake, I work... The web doesn't stop when I sleep... I still earn money regardless, and anything that arrives in while I sleep, emails etc, I can just answer when I wake up...

No ones gonna die because an email doesn't get a reply for a max of 12 hours occasionally...

So go with your natural flow and sleep when you want :)

of course i do :winkwink: but im curious what others think

btw i don't actually mind my fucked up sleeping habbits too much, working at night is more productive for me... but my gf who has a regular 9-5 is not very excited about me waking up when she gets back from work :1orglaugh

Sarah_Jayne 01-10-2008 06:11 AM

It took me *years* to get into a normal-ish sleep pattern. I am naturally the type of person that will be up working all night and sleep all day. I lived like that for many years but I just had to change. I have to take the 'normal' patter seriously because if I break it too many days in a row I will find it hard to get back to it.

shekinah 01-10-2008 07:53 AM

Better try jogging at night time and not day time.. this helps you sleep well during the night!:thumbsup

Violetta 01-10-2008 09:17 AM

get a real job... :)

cykoe6 01-10-2008 09:30 AM

I was in day mode for like two weeks a while ago but now I am all fucked up staying up until 9AM and getting up when it is dark already. I fucking hate that.

What he said...

d-null 01-10-2008 10:10 AM

I'm naturally nocturnal as well

I heard that Elvis went completely nocturnal towards the end, that made me wonder.

sniperwolf 01-10-2008 10:33 AM

i've got the same problem...

hmm.. sleeping disorder seemed to be normal to all the people who live at the web eh? :(

Brother Bilo 01-10-2008 10:37 AM

I hate my sleep pattern. No matter how late I stay up, even getting hammered until 3 or 4 in the morning, go to bed and I'm up no later than 930. I used to be able to sleep off even the worst night of self inflicted liver abuse, but now, I just wake up and have to deal with it. :(

GTS Mark 01-10-2008 10:55 AM

Yeah i am in day 4 of day schedule again... I was up working until 4-5am every night and my wife was getting quite pissy with me LOL! Sleep in everyday until 10-11 if not later...

Feel really good waking up early again, I hope i can stay on this schedule.

DH

nico-t 01-10-2008 11:18 AM

last week around the holidays i was awake at nights and asleep at daytime, this week its going pretty good even when i almost cant fall asleep when i go to bed... got up today at around 11:30 am. Thats early for me! But it feels good, ive been very productive.

Martin 01-10-2008 11:23 AM

Buy an alarm clock set it for 7am. Not very hard mofos. Just got to get out of the habbit of staying on your computer allnight. During the week my computer is off before midnight. I used to be like that too.. Up allnight, sleep all day. Turning 30 this year. Time to join the rest of the world.
