I would guess PPC fraud, paying ppl to click your adsense ads or to overclick your competitors.

You should act interested and find out what sites they are for. :)

Obviously there ads aren't working as they didn't deliver what they do. But like it was said above, it sounds like clicksters for hire to click on PPC ads.
