Thoughts on new default template?
 

I'm trying to finish up the new default template for my Tube script. Anybody have some suggestions? My old one sucked so I need to finish this one up and get it out ASAP!

It's well balanced and you've got beautiful use of CSS driving the layout. The header seems a bit large, maybe? You're pushing down quite a bit of stuff below the fold with the purple header taking up 150 pixels at the top. Any plans to put a banner up there? The fold is your enemy when designing a homepage. Even with that caveat, I think it looks fucking awesome.

I'm at 1680x1050 so I didn't really notice 150 up top as something large. I think I'll try to shrink that to 100-125 up top. I've never had much luck with ads really high up in the layout but I'd imagine an ad in that white box where the video's being played now box is would probably do pretty well.

I have the layout in like 9 different color styles with like 6 different girl headers that I'll have to slice up to be able to have quick color changes from the admin. I suck at CSS and other design things so I hired a guy to do this for me once I found a layout I liked.

V1.5.1 added support for ad rotations straight from the admin. I also finally automated the incoming traffic logging tool so link exchanges are finally easy.

In a few days I plan on rolling out an affiliate system so you guys can promote it and get a % I've also been working on the information site. I have to overhaul the frontpage sales pitch and get guides on how to do alot of things together but my project is finally coming together nicely and I'm getting the presentation down considerably better.

I went ahead and put it out and flagged it as beta for now. I wanna see what happens when some other users toss some crazy things at it and see how it holds up ;)

One thing I would say is when you click on a vid to watch it. Its kinda hard to see the affliate link and I dont think users are gonna notice that very well. Wouldent it be better to have a similar link like the TEVS script underneath the videoplayer with something like "See The Full Movie Here"

It took me awhile to actually notice the affliate link on the player itself

I updated the template again, made the header even thinner and I'm just about ready to call it final ;) http://adult.fastfreemedia.com/

There are settings worked in to disable some of the boxes: http://entertainmentscript.com/demo/...?action=layout Currently I haven't worked the stats box back in yet. The old layout had more boxes that could be quickly turned on/off but this template doesn't use most of those old boxes.

If you've visited the demo site before use ctrl-F5 to reload the style sheet and the graphics.
