So, who are other actors and actresses that were all over the place in the 80's and 90's but have pretty much vanished.

Well Rita and Paul are probably doing the casino circuit. Paul is a very funny standup, he is 77th in the 100 greatest comedians of all time.

Yeah, I saw a rerun of the Mash reunion thing she hosted a while back and I was trying to think of the most recent thing I had seen her in.

Her husband (I don't know if they are still married) is British and she would show up in UK stuff now and then such as the film Peter's Friends but not for a long time. When I went to LA when I was a kid I was in the studio audience for some very short lived sketch show she did with Leeza Gibbons of all people.

They got their 15 minutes I guess.

Does anyone remember Heather Thomas. She was everywhere for a while. My brother had this poster of her.

A few years ago I would have said Patrick Dempsey. He was pretty big in the 80's for a while with those movies he was in, then after a string of complete bombs he was in nowhere'sville for nearly a decade.

Now suddenly he's "the man" on Grey's Anatomy.

we took our little nice to see Enchanted over the holidays starring Patrick Dempsey and about 1/2 way through the movie I leaned over and whispered "extra anchovies" to my husband lol. Remember that awful pizza delivery movie he was in where he was a gigolo? I think it was on HBO about 25 times a week for 5 years.

Pretty sure Guttenberg was directing Twink movies for a while.

Further to the topic... I've noticed that a lot of the old "brat pack" who were the shit in the 80's have now fallen into the obcurity of the B list.

yep, he left the West Wing after 6 years and now he's on Brothers and sisters. I have never seen either but I know they're popular.

ya, I remember seeing some kind of true hollywood story or something about Jan Michael Vincent a while back. He's a fucking disaster. After Airwolf ended, nobody gave a fuck about him anymore, he couldn't take it or whatever.

Sucks when you get used to the spotlight, then completely fall out of it.
