It's pretty hard to be famous and not be rich in today's world. Maybe you could be infamous and poor.

It's also hard to be very rich and not famous.

Personally, I don't want to be famous. Infact I'm pretty careful not to accidently become famous.

fame attracts enviers and makes you a crime target...

Rather make a ton of money and feel secure walking around vacation spots without the fear of being a kidnapping target.

Being famous probably sucks, people bother you all the time, you never know who your real friends are, etc. I'd rather be rich.

I did put rich but I bet famous gets more pussy. Even some dope from real world or something like that is probably drowning in it.

I'll be perfectly happy being RICH, coz as long as I have the money then I can do anything to be FAMOUS :)

Well lets face it fame and wealth are relative but there are lots of famous who are not rich, olympic atheletes, one hit wonders in entertainment, etc... And think of all the people here who do really well and you would consider rich that are not even known inside the industry let alone outside of it. These things do not always go hand in hand.

I don't even understand the question. You can buy fame with money, so obviously if you're rich you can have both.

If you're famous, you might be able to make money using your fame, but you're stuck with the famous bit for life.

You can't undo being famous, but it's easy to undo being rich.

Amen dat... I'd be the multi-mega-millionaire with the regular car and decent but mainstream house -- going on vacations all the time of course. No need for all that craziness associated with being filthy rich, it's just too much work.

Ya right. How many rich people are in the world right now? Pretty sure if you stay off the radar, nobody will bother you. Maybe an occasional reporter or something, but nowhere near what famous people deal with.

50 billion is a lot, but I'm not sure that it's the low end of what is considered rich. But I'll bet you 50 billion dollars that if I was rich, nobody would bother me with poparazzi bullshit.

Without a doubt RICH. Fame brings you nothing but headaches and drama.
