Is anyone else tired of getting returned checks from sponsors?
 

Every other week I'm getting a letter from my bank saying that the check from the sponsor is NSF. It's a massive pain in the ass to track down the company, get them to respond, pay the bank fee and reissue a check.

How can affiliate programs not have money in their affiliate account? Ridiculous.

easy solution, have your payouts via wiretransfer.... or epass, or paypal. :)

should send us more traffic dude, our checks never bounce. You want me to send you a money order we can do that too that way you know it is good :).

noticed a few programs having problems lately. late payouts, missing payouts, bounced checks ...?

I got one from the bank saying "irregular signature"

Gimme a break!!! And of course my email to the program is still unanswered :[

Yea that sucks... I had one NSF a while ago and I still have not sorted it out.

It happens every now and then but its certainly not regular from any specific sponsors. Do your bounces keep happening from the same sponsors or its random?

i got one check returned because the cashing costs were higher then the amount on the check ($100)... :1orglaugh it made me laugh!

So far I have been lucky that the webcam sites I am on checks have cleared for streamate and imlive. cams & my website are a sends me a wire transfer.

so maybe you can cut down the checks you receive so that way if you run into a problem it's easier to track down.

You are being nice, writting bad checks is illegal and the writer can end up in trouble if you see fit. Specially if it is the same company. Also many states have assorted bad check rules that apply.

have had this happen once: with a google adsense check... no kidding.

How can affiliates still work with checks in 2008? Ridiculous.

Don't wire do just as well for accounting purposes? Not saying you should all give up checks if you're happy with that, I just don't get why anyone would still want all the work with collecting checks in the mail, go to the bank and deposit them. Such a waste of time...

Please let us know who is bouncing your checks and not replying to emails.

Send your traffic to http://www.FreakBucks.com and you wont have that problem.

jensen: wires aren't an option for affiliates who send small amounts of traffic to many sponsors.

You should use the sponsor that recently sent me a signed blank check! ;)

I hate checks, cashing them outside th US is a pain in the ass and expensive as hell

I've obviously been very lucky - cashed hundreds of cheques and only had one unpaid and that was one that the sponsor rectified immediately with no fuss.

Should be promoting us.

I've never had a returned check in 7 years of being in business..**just knocked on this wood desk** I would be HIGHLY pissed if it ever happened.

The new "Busty Bucks" use CCbill and Epoch so checks are mailed from them every week like clockwork

I think I've only had 3 bounces in my 6-7 years in this industry... a couple from clickcash and one from globill (deposited it just before they went belly up). Are you using a heap of different sponsors or are you just having a run of bad luck?

I do it once a month man. Not that much time invovled. :winkwink:
