Rumor is country wide financials maybe going belly up!

Anyone have home mortgage with them??

I believe the thread title should be: "Rumor has it....."

or am I wrong? I could be since English is not my first language :)

My buddies wife worked there. She was a recruiter, and was just laid off. She made a lot of money too, they gave let her know right before the holidays and her last day is Friday. She worked for them for a long time too.

Hard to say, I doubt the gov would let it happen. Worst case would prob be some sort of bail out.

Thank God we fully own all our homes. That mortgage fiasco was hard on a few friends of ours down in the US.

does that mean I get my house for free? I must be bad luck first net bank then county wide.

Naw they'd sell your loans to another lending institution.
