But... the top JPG on the tour is a 500kb monster which is fucked up.. the job of a lazy designer for sure...

Yes, on all brazzers sites JPG in header is too fucking much Kb and lot of dial-up surfers can't wait to load 500+ Kb ... If optimise that JPG to 79% it will be less then 200 Kb and still good quaility!

Thanks for the good comments about the sites ! We gather lots of data before building our sites, losing quality in the main header of the tour is not an option....our target customer base is not dial-up users, they represent less than 5% of buyers in this day of age. We need to cater to the people that are most likely to buy.

That being said , we will do our best to make it load faster and thanks for pointing this out!

If it does not support the public or outdoor niche .. then this site can fall under the ass niche or general (it;s designed to convert curiosity into $).

We've done some of our own research to get to those conclusions including polls and other statictical tools..

But if you just put google analytics on your site, you'll get similar results.

Now I will be a smart ass - of course if you run a site that features huge file sizes you're only going to get sales from people on broadband and of course your statistics are going to show that people on dial up aren't buying.

500k to 650k is way too big even for your ultra high-end porn surfers with 22" dual monitors. They would never know the difference at 85% JPEG compare to the 100% JPEG you are using now.

Your members' area photos should be bigger. The video is just a perfect size. The one minutes clip are perfect for finding the right jerking material to blow your load to.
