anyone know anything about Flash Video Embeds?
I redid the embed code for some of these flash videos
and made the width and height bigger... But if you look at the below URL you will see the result was not what I was looking for, how can I fix this? http://www.tubeland.com/video/Ass_Tr..._Luigina-1877/ Any clues or suggestions or can't i resize? |
well first thing
what method are you using to embed the vids? Are you directly embedding into a keyframe or are you streaming dynamically?
hit me up [email protected] |
in this scenario, both the player and the video are hosted by sponsor... on the sponsors site... i simply provide the parameters
|
bump for me, hezzzeeeellp

We are still working on the site design and have to train Andy to import the right galleries and teach him how to avoid the dupes and the sponsors who love to have 50000000000 links to the same content.. With the holidays, and internext and other stuff going on, be a week or so before we get cruisin |
VIPimp, can you send me 10 hosted movie galleries to
support [ at ] bigdotmedia com and I will check if your galleries work with TEVS. I know my customers are always looking for new sponsor. |
Zorg, am i mistaken the flash player is loaded from perfect gonzo in this case
so the javascript on my site is irrelevant and thius we are stuck to using 500 width? I changed the js on my side, but that didnt help, didnt think it would either as I thought i seen it calling a flash player from their server |
Cool... also earlier today I sent you guys your links to the new gals that were added. In case it didnt get thru to you guys, let me know.
Thanks |

Why specifying all these parameters in the database that seem to do absolutely nothing then? Can't their script allow the size parameters to be sent to their player and used instead of hardcoded on their end or is this a security concern? At least minimal can you have them turn off the scale from NONE or default or whatever, so then it would at least work but be somewhat distorted scale='default' quality='best' bgcolor='#dfe5ef' scale='default' ^-- notice also a bug here, that all these are defined twice on the import tool doesnt matter since these details seem to do nothing, only what they have on their end |
Maybe PerfectGonzo could shead some light on this?
|
has this been tested to track? If it's not accepting parameters, i dont see how it could be tracking referral code?
well i guess it has to be accepting paramaters, to know which movie to load.. hrmph |
When you install via TEVS, you enter your webmaster ID.
&webmasterID=XXXXXX Yes, as I understand it, it does track, this is the only form I promote PG and I see hits in my stats. |
must be the code on theyre end is not caring what parameters are being sent... anyone else have a flash video setup like this I can test?
|
zorgman... hit me up on teh icqs when possible please.
|
well...
The size of the window the video actually plays in is coded in actionscript within the flash project. They would need to add something like object.resize=enabled; into their code. Of course thats not the exact syntax but first find out if they will make this change for you. They might have some reason for having it a specific size.
