i've ran myself into a corner and i'm not sure what to do. i've done qa bit of googling, but i still can't figure out what to do here. if anyone has this combo going on and can spare a minute to answer a couple questions, pleease hit me up on icq. 432-645-736. i'd appreciate it, thanks.

every time i click a thumb, i skim to a sponsor through sloth trader. i can't get to my galleries, not sure the problem...
|
a url would help... also what's your out code look like in st
|
oh i got shit majorly fucked up now, my thumbs aren't even showing at this point...
http://www.punktgp.com is the url. i've trade the trade link url format as both of the following /sloth_out.php?url=#url#&pct=70&f=1 /sloth_out.php?url=#url#&pct=#skim#&f=1 i don't know what the hell i did playing with the template to cause things to fuck up the way they are now. google really isn't doing me any favors either.. |
errr, i got the thumbs showing up once again, but they still skin to random mgps every time i click a thumb right now. dunno whats up. do i have to install sloth trader is my /st/ dir, or the root dir?
|
wow... you really screwed the pooch didn't you LOL
sloth can be wherever I think. But imo... that's not your problem. looks like a syntax issue. look at your urls http://www.punktgp.com/st/st.php?id=&script=1&url=&p=85 &url= is blank |
i have no fucking clue what i'm doing with this mess, haha. tgps are a headache, i need to go back blogging...
|
never used the combo, the domain and niche is great though, good luck

For sloth:
INBOUND CODE: (site load) # .php page: This must be the first line: <?php include "sloth_in.php"; ?> or # .shtml page: Within the <head> area: <!--#include file="sloth_in.php" --> OUTBOUND CODE: (click) # To gallery only (no skim): sloth_out.php?url=http://gallery.url # To trade only (perm link): sloth_out.php?trade=domain.com # To gallery with trade skim: sloth_out.php?url=http://gallery.url&pct=skim_percent eg, pct=70 sends to galleries an average 70% of the time, and trades 30% of the time. # First click to gallery always: sloth_out.php?url=http://gallery.url&pct=skim_percent&f=1 now when you edit the thumb url in ST under settings, you have to add only one, e.g. /sloth_out.php?pct=65&f=2&url=#url# so 65% goes to galleries and the first two clicks |

ok, i'm still having the same problem of the thumbs directing to random mgps instead of my galleries. it seems like st inserts this into the theme for links
st/st.php?id=4&script=1&url=http://www.toxxxy.com/hg/templates/lipstick/lipstick_noexit.html/NjUwOjU6MzE,0,0,0,/erotic_pork&p=60 shouldn't it be adding in a sloth_out.php url? not an st.php one? i'm confused... |

fuck it, i can't figure this shit out, i'll just have to hire someone for it i guess.

You need a toplist or two, you have to edit the settings of sloth first. If it is done, add a trade to test it, you can call it test.com or whatever. Rowan's script is awesome, simple and crystal clear. I don't know which version you got, the free or paid one, but editing the nocookie.url is also a good idea.
Now when this is done, check your ST settings again: now when you edit the thumb url in ST under settings, you have to add only one, e.g. /sloth_out.php?pct=60&f=1&url=#url# so 60% goes to galleries and the first click Sloth has to be on the root. |

well, i'm getting a 500 error when i get to the "open admin.cgi in your browser" step of installing at3 now. i've had enough for a night. this is some pain in the ass shit.
|
well, it's 4:30am and i'm proud to anounce that i've at least figured out the templating system now. and i've got at3 installed properly on one domain. i'll attack the trade script tomorrow. i've got to pass out now and prepare for battle again tomorrow.
from a blogger to the tgp folks i give you props, you're working some real headache shit in comparison to anything i've worked with in the blogging community... random question, but theoretically, could a trade script like this be implemented as a toplist into a blog or other format? |
If you still have Sloth installed there's one thing I can think of that may have been causing your problems... did you include sloth_in.php on your main page?
|
man, you should have used our support forum.. we would have solved your problem in no-time :(

For some reason couldn't use the forum. I think I've got smartthumbs pretty much down now. I got at3 installed, now its just a matter of getting the two to work together. Hopefully I get that part figured out today/tomorrow... |
