ANyone here been to the FULL MOON PARTY in Thailand?

I was there in july.
great party. just don't take too much $$ with you and remember wich boat you took there. Don't piss off locals.

Ill be staying on the island, at a hotel only accessible by boat.... will I have much of a problem getting a speed boat back to my hotel in the early AM?

are you staying in Samui or Kopanyang (sp?)...
You have to take the boat you came on, otherwise they will make you pay again given they have empty seats.
They will sell you round trip ticket and at first it will look like it's for any boat BUT its not. You will have to find same boat you came on. I got lucky and found mine fast but my friends spent 2 hours looking for theirs and had to pay again.

Im staying on the east side of koh phangan, a 10 minute boat ride from the party.

you shouldn't have problems. u cam always take long tail boat.
