unpaid speeding ticket
7 years ago,i used to be a car jockey, driving brand new cars from toronto to a dealership in cleveland. It was a great jobb,at the time, untill one of my buddies fell asleep at the wheel, and slammed into a concrete bridge.he died, and the company shut down.
anyways,i got pulled over by a trooper, and got slapped with a $100 speeding ticket.i still havnt paid the fine. Now i plan on visiting new york in the next few weeks,so am i gonna get thrown in jail trying to cross the border?? |
thrown in jail or you won't be let in
its messed up :) just pay it when you get in the states |
The fines on top of the original amount are probably in thousands of $$$ now... good luck
|
no
it wouldn't go up into the thousands they don't hold interest, they do, only up to a certain amount though, like $200 - $300 or something not like $3k :) |

What does this car jockey story has to do with you getting a speeding ticket?! Pretty confusing story. :angel

I might be mistaken but I don't think tickets have to be paid out of state. Meaning if you enter the US from any state besides NY, they won't pull up your record of an unpaid ticket. Once in the US you can cross state borders without any problems.
